615 WEB Designs was founded by John Salter and is based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, a suburban town east of Nashville.

John began his IT career in 1996 as a database developer for a small printing and ink company in Nashville. John became a network administrator in 1998, and by 2000 he had earned his MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCT, and CCNA Certifications.

In 2001 John founded his first business, MyEzHost.com, which provided web hosting services. While operating MyEzHost, John began to develop a passion for web design. In 2003, John sold MyEzHost but continued web development as a freelancer while advancing his career.

In 2006 John was hired as the Director of Application Development and Data Center Operations for a large stevedore. Here, John oversaw application and web development for a multi-million dollar corporation. In 2006 John was hired as the Chief Information Officer for one of the largest medical groups in Middle Tennessee. Again, having responsibilities for custom application/web development. All during this time, John continued to freelance and develop sites for a handful of customers and close friends.

In 2015 John decided to again branch out and start his own company. It was at this point he founded a successful managed services company which he built from the ground up, and he sold for a profit after only two years later. all during this time, John has always been drawn to his passion for web development, which is why we now have 615 WEB Designs.

John is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and the United States Air Force. His awards in include the Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, and the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.
